It would be difficult to find a more varied fauna than in Nordmøre. Many come for the wild reindeer or the muskox in the Sunndal mountains or on Dovre, or for the stocks of deer that roam the valley forests and the islands. Smøla is well known for its annual goose hunting, and the island even has its own species of ptarmigan. Nordmøre can offer plenty of ptarmigan, hares and other game. So you are welcome to bring your gun, your camera or just your sense of adventure.
