All roads lead to Nordmøre, or at least
quite a few.
From Oslo you can take the E6
northwards, turning off for various destinations:
- From Otta you can drive via Geiranger,
Ålesund, Molde and the Atlantic Road.
- From Dombås you can drive via
Åndalsnes, Trollstigen and follow the E39 northwards via Molde and the Atlantic
Road
- From Oppdal you take highway 70 via
Sunndal and on to Kristiansund
- If you’re coming from Bergen, you can
choose several routes northwards with the E39 being the most usual one. Several
of the routes include beautiful ferry trips and bridges. The final section
takes you through Molde and on to Nordmøre and the Atlantic Road.
From Trondheim (via Orkanger)
- You can take highway 680 – a fairy-tale
road along the coast of Nordmøre, through Kyrksæterøra and Aure
- You can
take the E39 via Vinjefjorden and Halsa.
- You can
take highway 65 via Rindal and Surnadal.
