Prefer travelling by train? Then you have several alternatives.
If you leave the train at Oppdal, you can travel on by bus to Sunndalsøra or Kristiansund.
If you take the Rauma line to Åndalsnes, you can travel on by bus from here to Kristiansund.
You
can take the train to Trondheim from Oslo, Bodø or Østersund. From there it’s
either bus or the Coast Express ferry service to Kristiansund.
